About the Kelly Kettle Cook

The cook set can be used in two
ways:
1. When the water boils, remove the kettle from fire base and place Grill Pieces
onto the fire-base.
Then simply place your meat on the grill and use as a BBQ for cooking, adding
additional fuel to the fire base as required. Fuel can be inserted through the
air hole in the side of the base.
2. Using our Pot Support (not included with the cook set) certain foods can be
cooked quickly over the chimney of the Kelly Kettle as it boils,
ensuring maximum fuel and time efficiency. Note: as the heat is intense, you
will need to stir your food regularly.

The Pot Support
(not included
in the Cook sets) allows you to cook small amounts of food (Rice, Oatmeal,
Soup etc) over the chimney of your kettle while your kettle boils,
harnessing all the heat that is generated in the chimney and ensuring maximum
fuel efficiency. Fits all kettle sizes.
Even in a Storm the
Kettle works remarkably well. The Pot-Support allows for an element of
cooking even in extremely harsh weather conditions. If more fuel is required as
you cook/boil, simply remove your pot/pan using the gripper handle (all in
our cook set) and feed additional fuel through the Pot Support. You don't need
to remove the pot support from the chimney when refuelling. When you have
finished cooking, allow time for the pot-support to cool. Then it can be
disassembled, flat-packed and inserted up the chimney of the kettle for
transport.

Use in the chimney like the
older version or use it to level uneven ground under the fire-base or to
eliminate scorch marks to lawns, timber decking and picnic tables, by simply
flipping it upside down to use under the fire-base of the kettle.
When used underneath, the support will remain cool to touch while the kettle
above boils.
Never use the Kettle without
water nor allow it to boil dry as it will overheat the inner chimney and may
ruin the Kettle.
